Christa-

Sleeping through the moon feels like a kind of devotion, too. Not everything luminous needs witnessing to be real; sometimes the body knows the poem before the mind does. I love this, remembering that poems arrive by consent, not pursuit, and that less can be its own form of truth. Thank you for the quiet permission to rest and still belong to the light.

I’m feeling this so hard. Is the poetry, is the poem still in here somewhere? Thank you

Where is the poem? A memoir of midlife. 💛😂

I love this call to poetry which I share. I love the idea that we do not seek to write a poem but that we seek to be so open that the poem writes itself through us. Naomi Shihab Nye tsays we live inside a poem so really writing poems are about opening my eys and heart wide enough so that I can see and touch the peom that is already there. This is a good reminder for me today. Thank you.

Thank you! (and hello 😍) Living inside a poem, beautiful. I'm going to play with that.
